One of the most feared of the fictional fighters that fooled the Allies early in the war, the "Omar" was actually an imaginary design that appeared in the April 1941 issue of the Japanese magazine Sora at the same time as the so-called AT-27 (code named "Gus"). The Sukukaze 20 was featured in a section called "Dreams of Future Designers".
