Nakajima SKT-97 ("Adam")
This so-called Nakajima float fighter never existed, yet drawings and detailed descriptions were widely circulated early in the Pacific War. An earlier unsuccessful experimental float plane built by Kawanishi in 1933, known as the 9-shi E8K1, was somewhat similar in appearance and may account for this fictional type.
